This week the Monument Stewards, a group of regular volunteers, joined the City of Grand Junction to prepare seeds for the growing season. Volunteers collected these seeds last year and they needed to be cleaned and prepared before planting. The seeds will be housed and grown in the City’s greenhouses and later planted by volunteers in the spring in areas disturbed by the construction of the next phase of the Monument Trail. Thank you to all the volunteers’ continued involvement and dedication to improving the Monument Trail!
